A man accused of being involved in a £1.3m drugs conspiracy has given evidence in his trial at Oxford Crown Court.
Shorne Ross denies being part of an Oxford-based conspiracy to supply Class-A drugs on March 10 this year.
Yesterday the 42-year-old entered the witness box for the first time and said he did not realise he was helping to transport cocaine and heroin.
Ross, of Mumford Drive, Rothersthope, Northampton, was one of five men arrested as part of Thames Valley Police’s Operation Strix, which targeted a group importing drugs into the UK.
The trial continues.
