A FITNESS group has put its best foot forward and broken a Guinness World Record.
Members of health and fitness group Glow helped break the record for the largest high-intensity interval training workout.
The record-breaking event at Kidlington Football Club was part of a nationwide attempt to create a record.
Member Jane Truby, 51, from Kidlington, said: “It was quite exciting and nice that we did it. It was something different.”
Together with 35 classes across the country, participants performed a specially choreographed routine.
The attempt at the Yarnton Road venue took place under the watchful eye of fitness trainer Sharon Canning.
After breaking the record participants finished off with a Pilates fitness session.
Money from the event will be used to buy items on RSPCA’s Blackberry Farm Amazon wish list.
The Buckinghamshire animal centre supports neglected and abused animals rescued by the animal charity. The wish list includes pet essentials such as harnesses, leads and food bowls.
