Well done to the organisers and those who took part in the Oxford Open Doors over the weekend. It really was an excellent way to find out more about our city and its history and the interesting places that we are not usually able to visit.
The music from The Waterloo Band and Bugles of The Rifles, the County Regiment, kept citizens and tourists entertained at several venues.
It was a pity that the “morons” who appear to support the barbaric actions of IS chose to try to drown out the band who were performing on Bonn Square by spouting their bile on a megaphone, thus spoiling those gathered from enjoying the music.
Again where were the police and so called council wardens to stop these unlicensed people from preaching their support for such a disgusting organisation?
I hope they are very proud of the latest action in the murder of another innocent man.
