A CONSULTATION over removal of mixed recycling banks across South Oxfordshire is under way.
South Oxfordshire District Council is considering removing the banks across the district as they have attracted illegal fly-tipping and created an eyesore.
The banks are said to no longer be needed as residents used wheeled bins to recycle.
Removing the banks could save the council about £20,000 a year.
A successsful pilot to remove recycling banks was held in Didcot and Watlington. The consultation ends on Monday, October 20. Visit southoxon.gov.uk/haveyoursay
