THE seventh annual Binsey fete on Saturday was a success as villagers turned out for a last summer outing.
Villagers enjoyed the famous Binsey tea tent and its older brother, the beer tent, while children played on the hay bales.
A stellar musical line-up kept punters entertained until the evening drew in.
Organiser Olly Wills, 35, from the village, said: “It’s great to see Binsey raising money for the local church and Oxford Food bank. We used to do it in August but it clashed with lots of other events, and it works really well at this time of year.”
Money raised will go to West Oxford Primary School, Binsey Church and Oxford Food Bank.
