Pair due in court after man stabbed in park
TWO young men are due in court today charged in connection with the stabbing of a 22-year-old man in a Banbury park yesterday.
Atique Akhtar, 20, and Umar Bashir, 21, were arrested after the victim was stabbed in the stomach in Moorfield Park at about 11.50am.
Both are due at Banbury Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Akhtar, of Fergusson Road, and Bashir, of Woodfield, were remanded in custody yesterday after they were arrested and both were charged by Thames Valley Police this morning.
