JEMIMA Khan and Russell Brand yesterday won a continuing injunction barring a masseuse from revealing “extremely private and sensitive matters” about them.

Szilvia Berki, 31, has publicly accused the comedian of a serious crime after an incident at Ms Khan’s £15m Oxfordshire home, Kiddington Hall, near Woodstock, in June, the High Court was told.

The Hungarian had been hired by Miss Khan for £500, but Mr Brand proved unwilling to have a rub-down to celebrate his 39th birthday, it was claimed.

Miss Berki alleges a serious altercation took place after the couple’s dog frightened her – claims the couple have called “false and defamatory”.

Police investigated an allegation of common assault against Mr Brand and concluded there was no case to answer. The couple now accuse Miss Berki of harassment and being a fantasist.

Mrs Justice Carr yesterday said she would allow the injunction to continue.

She said: “There was a meeting between the claimants and the defendant at the second claimant’s house in Oxfordshire on June 7, 2014.

“There is a dispute as to what occurred at that meeting. The claimants say that the first claimant was uneasy with the defendant and did not wish to proceed with the massage. The position was uncomfortable, but not unfriendly.

“The defendant on the other hand alleges that she was the victim of wrongful and criminal conduct. The claimants deny any such conduct.

“Some of the defendant’s allegations concern extremely private and sensitive matters which have not been reported in the national media. For these reasons, and subject to finalisation of the precise terms and scope of the order, I grant the application for an anti-harassment order until trial or further order in principle, and dismiss the defendant’s application for a stay and disclosure.”

Miss Berki maintains the injunction is designed to “intimidate” her and alleges Mr Brand masterminded a “cyber-attack” on her computer.

A separate order bans any reference to material contained on a “confidential schedule”.
