woman was taken to hospital after an accident on the A40 at Wheatley yesterday.
Her car came off the road at about 4pm and she had to be cut free from the vehicle by fire crews.
An air ambulance was sent and landed near Wheatley. The woman was taken to the John Radcliffe by a land ambulance with a possible head injury.
The westbound carriageway of the A40 at the turning for the B4027 near Forest Hill was closed for more than two hours.
