A 13-month-old baby was found dead in a bath, an inquest heard yesterday.

Robyn Andrews-English was discovered lying face down in the water by her mum at their home in Kents Row, Grove, near Wantage, on Thursday, August 7.

Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court heard how she was taken by ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate her but she did not respond.

A post-mortem examination has so far failed to find a cause of death.

The inquest has been adjourned until Tuesday, February 17.
