I read with total disgust the Oxford Mail of Saturday, August 30, about a man having to remove the Union flag.
Some years ago the Oxford Town Hall flew a C ampaign for Nuclear Disarmament banner.
Every day the Randolph hotel fly the Flag of the European Union.
I find both of the latter totally repugnant but it is a free country and I respect their right to do so. But while the European Union get more of a stranglehold I wonder for how long.
In two world wars many people died for the freedom of democracy, but I wonder for how much longer we will enjoy that freedom.
David Cameron said he got better terms, but who for? The best deal is out, don’t be threaten by trade boycotts, let’s get back to the Commonwealth trade, many of whose men died in the fight for freedom.
