Oxford was the seventh most visited town or city in the UK last year, figures show.
In 2013 there were 456,000 people who came to the city for “staying visits” – meaning they spent at least one night here.
The figure is up from the previous year when 430,000 people visited the city.
London was the most visited town or city in the UK with more than 16 million visitors making staying visits.
