OXFORD MAGISTRATES
- Anthony Woods, 50, of HM Prison Bullingdon in Patrick Haugh Road, Arncott, convicted of assault after spitting on ambulance technician Fay Belson at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headley Way, Headington, on October 11. Sentenced to eight weeks in prison.
- Martin Rendell, 23, of The Oval, Didcot, admitted breaching a community order on June 17. Order to continue. Fined £80 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
- Craig Westland, 21, of Fairfield Place, Abingdon, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attended unpaid work at West Oxford Primary School on June 14. Order to continue. Fined £80 and told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.
- Faith Kennedy, 21, of Revel Close, Wallingford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order without reasonable excuse on April 22. Fined £40 and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge. Order to continue.
- Rodger Burns, 62, of Hollow Way, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in a Mercedes in Between Towns Road, Oxford, on July 7. Had 73 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 16 months.
- Patricia Dowdall, 48, of Green Ridges, Oxford, admitted shoplifting household articles worth a total of £83 from Debenhams in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on May 11. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Tom Duffy, 26, of High Street, Tetsworth, admitted drink-driving a Citroen Relay Van on the B4445 on June 21. Had 55 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
- Christopher McDonagh, 19, of Middle Ground, Wheatley, admitted using racially aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Waynflete Road, Barton, on May 11. Community order made and told to do 60 hours of unpaid community work within the next 12 months. Told to pay £50 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
- John Woods, 31, of Boxhill Road, Abingdon, admitted possession of Class B drug cannabis in Abingdon on June 27. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Richard Stallard, 22, of no fixed address, admitted criminal damage to a front door in Desborough Crescent, Oxford, on June 8. Community order made with alcohol treatment and supervision requirements. Told to pay £350 compensation.
- Sally Taylor, 37, of Rookery Court, Didcot, admitted shoplifting a bottle of Russian Vodka worth £14 from Co-op in Didcot on June 8. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £14 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Daniel Webb, 31, of Rookery Court, Didcot, admitted shoplifting two bottles of Bells Whisky worth a total of £38 from Co-op in Didcot on June 8. Community order made with an eight-week curfew requirement. Also admitted attempting to steal skincare products from Wilkinsons in Didcot on May 19. Told to pay £38 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Francis Boyle, 61, of Wood Farm Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Cowley Road, Littlemore, Oxford, on July 6. Was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £35 costs.
- David Lee, 45, of Courtland Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving a Jaguar X Type on the Eastern Bypass, Oxford, on July 6. Had 90 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 23 months.
- Matthew Mundy, 28, of Waynflete Road, Barton, Oxford, admitted possession of Class B drug cannabis in Collinwood Road, Risinghurst, Oxford, on March 20. Also admitted possession of Class A drugs cocaine and diamorphine in Waynflete Road, Barton, Oxford, on March 20. Fined a total of £140 and given a 12-month conditional discharge. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Lee Pullen, 32, of Burgan Close, Oxford, admitted criminal damage to an electronic monitoring tag belonging to G4S at Abingdon Police Station, Colwell Drive. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
- Jack Reid, 19, of Woodstock Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving a black Volkswagen Polo in St Margaret’s Road, Oxford, on July 4. Had 61 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.
- Ashley Cooper, 20, of HMP Bullingdon, admitted criminal damage worth £200 to a Volkswagen Golf, in Reynolds Way, Abingdon, on June 26. Also admitted using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Reynolds Way, Abingdon, on June 26. And admitted assault by beating in Oxford on June 30. Given a four-month prison sentence and told to pay £100 compensation.
- Stephen Rushmer, 50, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Park End Street, Oxford, on July 2. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
- Julie Grant, 42, of Webbs Close, Wolvercote, admitted shoplifting eight items of food worth £8.70 in total from Sainsbury’s in the Westgate Shopping Centre, Oxford, on April 4. Community order was made with drug rehabilitation and supervision requirements.
- Michael Hardisty, 31, of Night Shelter in Oxford, admitted stealing alcohol worth £21.70 from Waitrose in Old High Street, Headington, on June 29. Also admitted behaving in an indecent manner, namely masturbating in view of CCTV and view ports at Abingdon Police Station in Colwell Drive, Abingdon, on June 29. Sentenced to six weeks in prison.
- Sajjad Tasib, 28, of Wilkins Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving an Audi A6 in Cowley Road, Oxford, on April 9. Had 59 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £130 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six penalty points. Not banned as drinks were laced.
