A CAR towing a trailer has crashed on the A34 near East Illsey.

No one was hurt in the incident, police spokeswoman Rhianne Pope said, but recovery vehicles are on the way.

The Ford Cortina is reported to have crashed into the central reservation of the northbound carriageway at about 12.20pm.

One lane has been closed.
