A 10-day international drama festival involving some 150 young people from the city ends today.
Mesh Festival, which was held in partnership with Pegasus Theatre and North Wall Arts Centre, saw dancers, singers and actors from Holland, Germany, France, Russia, Croatia, Lithuania and Zimbabwe all perform productions in Oxford.
Tonight the groups will unite to perform Beowulf and Grendel, adapted from the epic Anglo-Saxon poem, Beowulf, in the Town Hall, St Aldate’s, at 7pm.
It is the third time the festival has been held. The performers include groups from four of Oxford’s twin towns, Leiden in Holland, Bonn in Germany, Grenoble in France and Perm in Russia.
