Two men have have been charged in connection with an alleged sex exploitation ring in the town.
Ahmed Hassan-Sule, 20, appeared at Banbury Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with sexual assault.
He was one of six men, aged between 19 and 21, arrested in June and charged with child sex exploitation crimes between 2011 and this year. All are in custody.
A 17-year-old from Banbury, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also appeared on a charge of rape.
He was released on condition bail to appear alongside Hassan-Sule, of Glyndebourne Gardens, at Oxford Crown Court on Wednesday.
