CONGRATULATIONS to Mike Lacey for completing his book of poetry. Anybody who has been in the halls of justice will know it is not all objections and Hollywood style witness meltdowns.
But he has used his day job to inspire his collection of poems.
There are certainly plenty of characters that pass through the legal system – both criminals and lawyers alike.
And there is even an ode to a former Oxford Mail court reporter.
Whether the poems are any good you will have to judge for yourself.
