OXFORD MAGISTRATES
- Alessandro Cipullo, 23, of Nuffield Road, Wood Farm, Oxford, admitted drink-driving a Toyota Aygo in Rewley Road, Oxford, on June 24. Had 54 micrograms in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
- Thomas Hooper, 21, of Oatlands Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in George Street, Oxford, on May 11. Community order made and told to do 60 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Also told to pay £150 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
- Kaleigh Johnson, 28, of Lakefield Road, Littlemore, Oxford, admitted drink-driving a Ford Fiesta in St Nicholas Road, Oxford, on April 23. Had 88 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £250 and ordered to pay a £25 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.
- Christopher Jones, 61, of Barn Ground in Longworth, admitted failing to provide a blood specimen for analysis at Abingdon Police Station on June 17. Admitted driving without a licence, insurance, and a valid test certificate. Also admitted failing to stop when asked by a police officer in Hinton Road, Hinton Waldrist, on June 17. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge. Banned from driving for 15 months.
- David Kent, 22, of Heath Close, Headington, admitted having a kitchen knife with a four-inch blade in Ilsley Road, Headington, on April 5. Also admitted possession of cannabis. Community order made with activity and supervision requirements. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £175 costs.
- Michael O’Leary, 30, of Red Bridge Hollow, Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting two boxes of Budweiser beer worth £16 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on June 14. Also admitted stealing beer worth £8 from Tesco in St Aldate’s, Oxford, on July 7. Community order made with a supervision requirement. Fined £10 and told to pay £16 compensation and a £60 victims’ surcharge.
- Andrew Achilleos, 53, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted stealing bedding and men’s perfume worth £378 from Debenham’s, Oxford, on July 23. Given a community order with 100 hours of unpaid work in the next year. Also ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
- Adrian Flint, 24, of Collett Way, Grove, admitted possessing heroin, a Class A drug, in Abingdon on May 30. Fined £80 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Robert Wells, 36, of North Way, Headington, Oxford, admitted resisting Pc Shaun Heyns in the execution of his duty at Abingdon Police Station on March 12. Given a community order requiring six months of alcohol treatment. Also ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
- Lee Jenkins, 28, of Eagles, Faringdon, admitted stealing a bank card in Watchfield on July 5. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £240 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Simone Woodley, 36, of Rectory Meadow, Chinnor, was convicted of speeding at 38mph on a 30mph road, the A40 West Wycombe Road in High Wycombe, on December 1. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
- Bejesh Bose, 27, of Batholomew Road, Oxford, admitted driving a car without a valid licence in Bartholomew Road on January 14. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES - James Brooks, 19, of Buckingham Road, Bicester, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Hunt Close, Bicester, on June 24. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Sandra Cumming, 35, of Padbury Drive, Banbury, admitted drink driving in Marshall Road, Banbury, on May 2. Had 173mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mg. Given a 20-month driving ban and told to pay a £230 fine, a £23 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Kerry Lewis, 49, of Delapre Drive, Banbury, failed to provide a specimen when required to do so when suspected of having committed an offence on July 3 in Banbury. Given a 12-month driving ban, fined £400 and told to pay a £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Ross Marshall, 25, of Hardwick Road, Bicester, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, with intent to supply in Market Square, Witney, on July 2. Also admitted supplying cannabis, a Class B drug, in Market Square, Witney, on the same date. Community order made with 120-hour unpaid work requirement. Also told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Janaed Akhtar, 30, of Fergusson Road, Banbury, convicted of two counts of assault by beating in Waterworks Lane, Banbury, on December 1, and in Banbury on December 5. Also admitted committing a further offence during the period of a suspended sentence order made by Banbury Magistrates’ Court on May 18 for assault by beating. Given six-month prison sentence because of repeat violent offending in a domestic context while subject to a suspended sentence.

Robert Allan, 66, of Moor Pond Close, Bicester, admitted causing actual bodily harm on June 14 in Bicester. Given a four-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, because it was a serious assault where injuries were caused in a domestic setting. Given relationship programme requirement, supervision requirement and 130-hour unpaid work requirement. Told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
