A LEGAL secretary became a hit with her colleagues after winning chocolate for her whole office.
Adrienne McGurn won the treats for her co-workers at Bower and Bailey solicitors after entering an Oxford Mail competition.
The bars were donated by Sainsbury’s supermarket at Heyford Hill to the legal firm in Banbury Road, Oxford, last Friday.
Miss McGurn, 32, of Northway, Headington, entered the contest because she wanted to treat her colleagues.
She said: “They went down really well, I was the most popular person in the office on Friday.
“I was excited when I learned I had won and very grateful because there was a lot of chocolate.”
The Oxford Mail ran the competition with Sainsbury’s to mark World Chocolate Day on July 7.
The supermarket donated enough own brand bars including milk chocolate, whole nut, caramel and Turkish delight for the office’s 30-odd staff to enjoy.
Miss McGurn added that the chocolate went down a storm with her co-workers.
The self-confessed chocoholic: “What’s left is in the fridge but most of it has gone.
“I’m definitely a chocaholic, I have been on a chocolate-making course before and milk chocolate is my favourite.”
Sainsbury’s PR ambassador, Sharon Hulbert, said: “They were very excited, as I would be if I had a handful of chocolate.”
