People working from home in Wantage and Grove can now take advantage of a communal computer in the town centre.
The Mix community shop in Mill Street, Wantage, is hosting hot-desking facilities from this month.
The station is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9am and 5pm.
Sustainable Wantage, the not-for-profit co-operative which runs The Mix, has installed desks, wi-fi and seating. There is also a fridge, kettle and basic kitchen and toilet facilities.
Accessing the hot-desking facilities costs £20 a month – email hugh@quick-mail.freeserve.co.uk or call 01235 411313.
Project co-ordinator, Hugh Shaffer, said: “As a freelance consultant, I understand the need to have a flexible town-centre facility where I can work and also have client meetings.
“The special introductory offer of £20 per month to the end of October is exceptional value for money, and I would invite anyone who is interested to contact me and arrange a viewing.”
The Mix was opened following the refurbishment of an empty shop on Mill Street, with much of the work done by local volunteers.
Earlier this year a crowdfunder campaign raised more than £3,200 to keep The Mix open, thanks to pledges of between £5 and £250 from more than 30 individuals, plus contributions from local councils.
The Mix is available for local groups and organisations to hire for meetings by emailing info.suswantage@gmail.com
