NINE-YEAR-OLD Rosie Rasala proved her table tennis skills at a village fete.
The annual Kidlington Gala took place at Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, on Saturday.
Organised by the parish council, the event has been taking place for more than 25 years and includes charity stallholders and facepainting.
Rosie said: “It was the first time I have played table tennis and they said I was a natural. I really enjoyed myself.”
Her mum, Karen Godwin, from Headington, said: “We go to the event every year as I do henna tattoos there.
“It was a lovely day and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
“The weather was absolutely beautiful and there was a lovely energy there.”
Parish Council chairman David Betts said: “We invite as many charities and organisations in the village as possible so they can come along and have a stall and raise money.
“We like to think it has a proper village fete atmosphere. We hope it gives charities and groups a chance to raise some money.”
