A BUILDING in an industrial estate near Faringdon was destroyed by a blaze today.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the fire at the Chowle Farm Estate, off the A420, at 12.25am.
Six fire engines attended the scene and firefighters restricted the fire to a 30m x 30m single-storey building, protecting other businesses.
The cause of the fire is now being investigated.
Rewley Road station manager Mike Adcock, the incident commander, said: “Crews worked extremely hard in hot and humid fire conditions to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.”
