Darren Evans, 37, of Hamilton Close, Bicester, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Bicester town centre on November 23. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
Alex Marshall, 18, of Westcote Close, Witney, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Witan Way, Witney, on June 7. Given a community order with a four month curfew from 8pm to 7am and ordered to be electronically monitored. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
Matthew Martin, 42, of Chamomile Place, Banbury, admitted stealing six DVDs worth £40.45 from BHS in Banbury on June 12. Fined £35 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs.
Max McTaggart, 30 of no fixed address, admitted possessing two “deals”, 0.15g, of heroin, a Class A drug, in Gillett Road, Banbury, on April 4. Fined £35 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs.
Tristan Wood, 40, of Eversley Close, Chadlington, Oxfordshire, admitted harassing two men in Carterton between April 1 and 25 by sending offensive text messages and making threatening phone calls. Given a restraining order against the victims for 12 months and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Hayley Cox, 32, of Brome Place, Headington, admitted stealing a £219 Dyson vacuum cleaner from Sainsbury’s in Witney on July 9 and attempting to steal two bottles of champagne worth £73. Ordered to join a six-month drug rehabilitation program and pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
Michael Bolton, 67, of Hardwick Road, Hethe, near Bicester, admitted refusing to give a breath test at Banbury Police Station on June 27 after driving a vehicle. Fined £130 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
Jake Holdsworth, 25, of Market Square, Bicester, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Bicester on June 28. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Shaun Smith, 25, of Ham Lane, Aston, was convicted of assaulting a man by beating him in Witney Market Square on January 16. Given a community order requiring participation in an Education, Training and Employment program for five days and ordered to carry out 180 hours’ unpaid work in the next year. Also ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.
Deirdre Stindt, 52, of Hawke Lane, Bloxham, near Banbury, admitted driving at 56mph on the 30mph Stratford Road in Buckingham on February 18. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.
Thomas Thatcher, 20, of Bradshaw Close, Steeple Aston, near Bicester, admitted being drunk in Banbury High Street on June 28. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Oxford Magistrates
Michael Davis, 29, of High Street, Didcot, convicted of making off without paying for a taxi journey from the Co-op in Steventon to Hanney Road on January 11; stealing alcohol worth £1,000 from Wahoo in Hythe Bridge Street, Oxford, on February 12, having entered the property as a trespasser; stealing a purse and computer device from the O2 Academy in Cowley Road, Oxford, on February 16, having entered the property as a trespasser; possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, at Abingdon Police Station on February 16; stealing the contents of a vending machine and handling stolen goods belonging to ABC Radio Taxi Oxford on February 27 in Magdalen Road, Oxford, and possessing heroin, a Class A drug, in Banbury Police Station, Warwick Road, Banbury, on May 17. Also admitted failing to surrender to Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 9. Given an 18-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months with a drug rehabilitation requirement for six months and supervision requirement. Told to pay £100 compensation, an £80 victims' surcharge and £100 costs.
Grzegorz Kulikowski, 33, of John Jones Close, Abingdon, admitted causing racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress using words or writing on March 7 in Oxford. Fined £300 and told to pay £100 compensation, a £30 victims' surcharge and £85 costs.
Barrie Evans, 34, of Strawberry Path, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted causing criminal damage to a front door window in Oxford on April 28. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Eamonn Anderson, 54, of Salter Close, Oxford, admitted stealing two sets of saucepans worth £360 from Debenhams in Magdalen Street, Oxford on June 19. Given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. Told to pay £360 compensation and an £80 victims’ surcharge.
Nathan Brenninkmeyer, 21, of St George’s Manor, Littlemore, Oxford, admitted resisting a police constable in the execution of his duty in Cornmarket, Oxford, on February 14. Fined £150 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £150 costs.
