A cyclist was taken to hospital with suspected leg and head injuries yesterday after an accident with a car.
The man and a blue Vauxhall Zafira collided outside the Shell garage, at the junction of London Road and Lime Walk, in Headington, at about 6.30am.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, in Oxford, for treatment.
A spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service believed the cyclist suffered leg and head injuries.
The man’s condition was serious but not life-threatening, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police said.
