Saturday morning, I open the paper – murders, wars, food banks, cruelty to old folks. I wonder what is going on in our wonderful planet.
Why can’t we learn to live together in peace with each other?
Then later, for a few hours, we can almost believe our world is near perfect as we escape to be entertained by a wonderful group of young people, vibrant and full of life. I am talking about the terrific show put on by Wantage Junior Show stoppers at King Alfred’s Academy, Wantage, on July 12 – Grease. The cast gave it their all and the audience loved it.
As we were going home, I said to my companions it gives me hope for our sad world. Well done to all for lifting our spirits.
Can’t wait for the next show. Thank you to all the cast. You were great.
