I live in a beautiful spot by the river near Oxford and this weekend it has been lovely to see groups of people enjoying the weather and the amazing resource that runs through our county.
However, once again, our weekend has been spoilt by the people that think it is OK to trespass on our property.
One comment this weekend was that the tree being climbed didn’t belong to us because it was in the river – I have yet to see floating trees as it is my understanding that trees need to put their roots into land.
Over the years we have had damage done, windows broken and abuse thrown. The river is there to be used but people need to think and not assume trespass is OK.
