Update: Police say the Westgate Centre, Oxford, is all clear after earlier cordon
PART of the Westgate car-park in Oxford was earlier closed off by police after reports of suspicious activity.
Thames Valley Police said they received a report, but couldn't say what it was about.
Tim Firth, 27, from Abingdon was walking back from work when he saw the police cordon.
He said: "It was between the car-park and the underpass. There was a police van there and what looked like a security officer.
"And on the lower section of the car-park there was police tape. I couldn't see any cars or people."
