Goods vehicles were stopped during a police weight check operation at a bridge.
Thames Valley Police found 10 overweight vehicles in the crackdown at Abingdon Weighbridge on the A34 – including one 67 per cent overweight.
The force said a driver found without a waste carrier licence faces a potential fine of up to £1,000.
Another five vehicles were found with brakes or tyres below legal requirements.
