The jury has retired to consider its verdict in the trial of a 20-year-old man charged with rape.
Jamie Williams, of Chaffinch Walk, Greater Leys, Oxford, denies forcing a female complainant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, to perform a sex act on him on Christmas Day, 2011.
Summing up her client’s case yesterday, Claire Fraser asked the jury: “Where is the support outside of what (the complainant) said?”
The jury has now heard all the evidence at Oxford Crown Court and will continue to consider its verdict today. Williams is on bail.
