BUS passengers will get to see the sky as Oxford Tube this week unveiled a new £10m fleet of buses topped with glass roofs.
The hi-tech vehicles will also feature 4G mobile internet, power and USB sockets, as well as a more environmentally-friendly exhaust system.
Managing director Martin Sutton said: “We have listened to customer feedback and worked to ensure the new coaches offer additional and improved facilities. This is now the most environmentally friendly way to travel between Oxford and London.”
It was also announced on the day that Stagecoach Oxford’s staff charity for the coming year would be supporting childrens’ hospice charity Helen and Douglas House.
Spokesman Hugh Thompson said: “As a charity providing dedicated care and support to local young people and their families, this partnership makes a lot of sense.
“We are looking forward to getting on board.”
