PUPILS have put an audio play together to help teach their peers across the county about fire safety.
The six-and-a-half minute audio drama depicts two brothers hosting a party at home after their mum goes to work.
But things go downhill after a fire breaks out when the group cook a pizza.
The Year 8 children at Wheatley Park School wrote and produced the piece after being commissioned by Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service.
The pupils put the production together in one day alongside members of the Fire and Rescue Service.
It will be sent to Key Stage 3 students – Years 7 to 9 – in secondary schools in Oxfordshire so they can learn form it. The play was launched at a Year 8 assembly at the school on Tuesday.
Rhys Dennett-Foster, 13, said: “I really enjoyed learning about how fires occur and how to prevent them, I also enjoyed working with the fire team.”
Station manager and home and community safety officer for Oxfordshire, Simon Sumners, said: “We cannot believe how much was achieved so quickly.”
