A Free Dementia Friends session will be held in Oxford by the son of Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson.
Jamie Anderson will host a one-hour awareness session and will speak about how to help people living with the condition.
His father Gerry died from the disease and vascular dementia in December 2012 and Mr Andrews continues to raise awareness in memory of his father, who also made the likes of Captain Scarlett and the Mysterons and Space: 1999.
It will be held at Keble College, Oxford, on July 20 at 6.30pm.
