POLICE are appealing for information about this woman after two security guards were assaulted at an Asda in Cowley.
A police spokesman said the two security officers at Asda in Between Towns Road had tried to stop a woman they suspected of shoplifting.
A female security guard was punched and a male colleague hit and spat at.
The incident happened at about noon on July 4. Information on the attack was only released today when police asked for public help to locate the woman in this CCTV photo.
The incident ended, the spokesman added, when clothes from the store were handed back and the attacker fled.
The victims suffered scratches and bruises but did not require hospital treatment.
Police are appealing for anyone who recognises the woman in this CCTV image to call Pc Lee Gilbert at Cowley Police Station on 101 or 0800 555111.
