Car alight on M40
Traffic was delayed on the M40 southbound yesterday morning after a car caught fire, closing one lane between junction 7 for Watlington and junction 6, the Thame turn off. The fire service attended the blaze – reported to The Highways Agency at 10.30am – and the lane was re-opened by noon.
