A man was taken to hospital in the early hours of yesterday after being reportedly attacked with a machete in Chipping Norton.
A resident said the 24-year-old was injured with the weapon but Thames Valley Police said they couldn’t confirm what was used, just that it was a sharp object.
The 24-year-old victim was taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital with a cut to the head.
The offender is believed to have got into a car and driven off after the incident in Churchill Road at 12.30am. No arrests have been made.
