PUPILS at Wood Farm Primary School got very messy decorating these fairy cakes for the Wood Farm Festival.
More than 40 year three pupils spent Friday morning icing the cupcakes which were sold at the afternoon fete to raise funds for the school.
At 20p each, the 100 cakes made £20 towards the total which staff are still counting up.
Year three teacher Sarah Fellows, 25, said: “It was brilliant, we had a lot of fun getting messy and spent all morning doing it.”
Parents and others from Wood Farm joined the annual fete at the school, which also had a bouncy castle, face painting, ice cream and more stalls runs by pupils.
Money raised helps pay for field trips and a Christmas treat.
