THIS football fan got more than she bargained for at a charity tournament.
Shannon Eggleton-Hart went to the Play2Give football afternoon on Sunday to watch her cousin Ethan Eggleton-Gibbs take part, but ended up with a signed shirt and photo with Oxford United goalkeeper Max Crocombe.

The 10-year-old Willowcroft Community School pupil, who plays with Didcot Casuals FC, said: “It was really exciting, because he’s a goalkeeper like me.”
Nine-year-old Ethan played for the Didcot Town White U9 team, which raised £275 for the Oxford Children’s Hospital.

Play2Give, which is in its the sixth year, saw 18 children’s teams compete at Oxford City’s Marsh Lane ground. The U9s event was won by the Hinksey Park Youth team, and Oxford City Blues took the U10s event.
Organiser Andrew Baker hopes the total donation for the hospital will reach £7,000.
He said: “Just from the day we raised over £1,400, and there’s more to come.”
