THESE talented youngsters were set to bring sweet music to Oxford Town Hall last night.
Choirs from county secondary schools joined Oxfordshire County Youth Orchestra for the event.
The show – put on by Oxfordshire County Council’s music service – gave concert goers a preview of the orchestra’s end-of-tour concert at the venue, which takes place on Sunday, July 27.
The 80-member orchestra, fresh from a visit to Germany, features youngsters aged 13 to 19.
Banbury violinist Francesca Ingall, 19, said ahead of yesterday’s show: “I’m really looking forward to playing, we have a big concert at the end of every term and at Christmas.”
