MOST people eat a strawberry or two – perhaps even more – when they go to pick-your-own farms.
But the guilty could ease their consciences by making a donation in the aptly-named ‘nibble jar’.
Proceeds from the jar were given to a Rotary International fund to tackle polio in many parts of the world.
When this picture of Janet and Joe Corderoy was taken at their farm at East Hagbourne in 1987, £45 had already been donated.
