WHILE I appreciate that the Grenadier Guards Football Team received a lesson on how to play the game from Kidlington FC, losing 11-0 at the charity football match and fun day held at their ground on Sunday, July 6, can I congratulate them and say what a lesson they gave back to all when socialising with families after the match?
All were immaculately dressed, well-mannered and polite – a credit to the younger generation to which they belong, and without being sarcastic, it is a pity that those experts who compile and run our justice system could not take a few tips from those who trained them [the team] and perhaps the re-offending rate among youngsters would drop.
