Tram-trains preferable to mono rail
I TOTALLY agree with Councillor Bob Johnston (July 4), tram-trains are the solution, in particular, Witney-Oxford traffic flow. Thus, being able to travel on road as well as rail.
Ian Hudspeth, more improved mono rail is expensive and cumbersome and will never come to fruition.
I am surprised at a Tory county council voting for a do-nothing plan instead of Bob Johnston’s brilliant plan.
The council it seems thinks no plan is better than a solution and the commuters suffer because of these idiots. Time for them to be kicked out of office, including Ian Hudspeth.
