Plans to serve only vegan food five nights a week at an Oxford University college have been scrapped.
As reported in the Oxford Mail, in June students at Wadham College voted to ban meat and dairy products to raise awareness of climate change. But now, vegan options will be available, but not dished up exclusively.
But Warden Ken Macdonald said last night: “While every effort is made to accommodate specific dietary needs, the college has no plans to serve exclusively vegan food.”
