A NATIONAL Chinese takeaway chain is looking to open three new outlets in Oxford.
Bosses at Hotcha want to hear from potential franchisees to run the operations, with outlets lined up in Cowley Road, Headington and Summertown.
James Liang, who founded Hotcha two years ago, said: “We are looking for experienced franchisees with strong knowledge of their local markets, a successful track record in business or the food sector and the ambition to launch Hotcha stores in due course.
“Knowledge of Chinese cuisine is not a prerequisite, as we have developed efficient processes and a training programme which ensures our food can be cooked quickly and to a high standard.”
Mr Liang, 32, set up the company with the aim of establishing the UK’s first national Chinese takeaway brand.
It is expected franchisees will need about £75,000 to start a store. Stores in the South West where they have already been rolled out have typically turned over £500,000 a year with profits of £150,000.
The expansion in Oxford is part of a plan to open up to 10 new outlets across the south of England.
