LIAM Costar scored a late equaliser as Headington Sharks fought back from 2-0 behind to draw 2-2 with Faringdon in the Oxford Mail Youth League Under 14 Spring League.
The visitors went ahead through Ronnie Platt and doubled their advantage when Jack Green netted.
Headington reduced the deficit when Peter Vickers headed in a Costar corner.
And they grabbed a point when, with five minutes remaining, Costar’s cross found its way into the net.
Goals from Calum Divine and Alex Pearson gave Banbury United Youth a 2-1 victory at Purley Jubilee in the A League.
Connor Taylor was on target for the hosts.
In the B League, Joshua Cos and Peter Mburu found the net as Oxford Blackbirds won 2-1 at Kidlington Youth Celtic.
Raphael Rice had scored for the home side.
A fine C League game saw Summertown Stars win 4-3 at home to Crowmarsh Comets.
Merlin Elias Jones and Felix Byam Shaw scored doubles for Stars, with Isaak Care (2) and Lewis Harding on target for the visitors.
In the Under 12 Spring B League, Abingdon United recorded a 3-0 success at Grove Challengers thanks to Gabriel Abrokwah, Louis Juffkins and Freddie Juffkins.
