NORTHWAY passed the 50-goal mark for the season with a 5-2 home defeat of Barton United in the Under 15 C League.

Captain Julian Maher headed the hosts into the lead before the break, but goals early in the second half from substitute Daniel Ribeiro and Moehtedy Qurnass put Northway firmly in charge.

Jacob Stuart pulled a goal back for the visitors and defender Connor Roche also added a second late on, but not before Robert Webb and Mazin Mohammed had sealed the points for Northway.

Oxford Blackbirds reached the final of the Under 14 Knockout Cup, but needed a penalty shoot-out to edge past A League Garsington in the semi-final after the sides were locked together at 5-5 following extra time.

Kyreece Martei (2), Victor Oluwatuyi, Joshua Cox and Reece McLennon scored for Blackbirds, but braces from Peter Kabiria and Taylor Wain, as well as a Charlie Burton goal ensured it finished honours even.

Blackbirds held their nerve in the shoot-out, edging through 5-4 to take their place in the final.

In the C League, St Edmunds fought back from being 2-0 down to Grove Challengers at half-time to secure a 2-2 draw.

First-half goals from Callum Young and Jack Jones gave Grove a comanding lead, but the home side hit back with goals from Tom Aram and Declan O’Hanlon to deny Challengers the victory.

Cumnor Minors set up an Under 13 Knockout Cup semi-final tie against A League rivals Radley with a narrow 2-1 win at Ardley United in the quarter-finals.

Sebastian Fox’s effort early in the second half cancelled out Adam Megarity’s first-half free-kick, but William Gordon-Roache headed the winner for Cumnor late in the game.

Cumnor Blues scored three goals in the final 15 minutes to beat Marston Saints 3-0 in the Spring B League.

Chris Hickman, Akira Harry and Mark Adamson each found the net in the closing stages.

Daniel Owen grabbed a hat-trick as Summertown Eagles beat Horspath 4-1 to go top of the table.

Ewan McCain was also on target for the visitors, while James Garland netted for Horspath.

In the Spring D League, goals from Connor Woodward and Edward Davies were in vain as Abingdon Youth lost 3-2 at home to Cold Ash.

Jack Hopkins, Harris Irfan and Harry Donne netted for the victors.
