SUMMERTOWN Eagles missed the opportunity to go top of the Under 12 Spring B League as they were beaten 3-2 at home to Cumnor Minors Blues.
A Chris Hickman brace and a goal from Reece Hayes put Cumnor 3-2 up at half-time, with Reuben Haydn and Laurie Cooke replying for the hosts.
Florence Park went top of the Spring D League following a 3-2 win at Cold Ash.
The visitors led 3-0 inside 20 minutes with goals from Jeremiah Yearwood, Franco Imbriano and Liam Parker-Woodley.
Jack Hopkins pulled two back, but Cold Ash were unable to find an equaliser.
In the C League, Wantage Town and Kidlington Youth Colts drew 5-5.
Braces from Charles Smith and Edward Lagden and a Josh Matthews goal ensured Wantage’s share of the spoils, while Ben Phyegar’s hat-trick for Kidlington was aided by goals from Jago Edwards and Owen O’Malley.
Lucas Tappin struck in the dying moments to condemn Ardington & Lockinge to a 3-2 defeat at Littlemore in the Under 11 Spring E League.
Connell Bobb gave the hosts an early lead but Ardington responded with goals from Callum Hendry and Maxwell Cox.
Oluwapelumi Maxwell equalised for the home side before Lucas’ late heroics completed the comeback.
Kennington Athletic Green went top of the Spring A League with a 4-1 home win against Summertown Stars White. Tyler Webb hit a hat-trick and Harry Cook was also on target. Kipp Mainstome replied.
