A VIDEO shoot took place on the streets of Oxford yesterday as part of the city’s International Women’s Festival.
Oxford Brookes University student Martina Lovascio, 26, originally from Italy, was among those helping to make a promotional video at Film Oxford, a film school in Catherine Street, as part of the festival, which runs until Saturday, March 22.
Ms Lovascio is studying at Brookes until June and said: “Six of us got together at Film Oxford to make a promotional video for Oxford City Farm.
“I prefer the pre-production and shooting phase as I find editing quite difficult.
“We started filming some scenes outside Film Oxford — we have a very democratic approach to film making.”
The festival, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary highlights women’s issues and celebrates the achievements of women from Oxford and beyond.
