DIDCOT Casuals kept up their 100 per cent record in the Spring League with an 8-1 win over Oxford City Nomads.
The home side were 3-0 up inside six minutes. A free kick from Jacob Knight was followed up by two goals from George Oxley.
Nomads were unsettled, but they began to get a foothold in the game.
However, just on half time Freddie Copping fired into the top corner to make it 4-0.
He added a second along with Knight, leaving Dom Wood and Harry Warmington to finish the hosts’ scoring. Jacob Carter-Higgin replied.
In the same section, goals from Finlay Wotherspoon and Oliver Lowman gave Chalgrove Cavaliers a 2-1 win at Bardwell, whose consolation came from Charlie Howlett.
Crowmarsh Youth crushed Cumnor Minors 9-0. Woody Gration-Symons bagged four, Oscar Oenes a double, with singles for Luke Bennett, Finn Ford and Ed West.
In the C league, Alhagi Chone struck twice, along with Dearntay Slattery and Hakeem Omar in Oxford Blackbirds’ 4-1 win over Goring Robins. Josh Thompson replied.
