A420 at Faringdon blocked both ways following crash
TWO crashes on the A420 near Faringdon have caused some delays this morning.
The first crash occurred just after 6.50am between the A417 Stanford Road and Buckland Road.
A van was involved in a collision with a Mercedes car. There were no injuries.
In the moments after that crash, as traffic built up, a second accident occurred as a car tried to perform a U-turn on the road.
The second accident involved a Ford Focus and an Audi A1, although it is at this stage unclear from police records which car was attempting to turn around. Again, there were no injuries.
Police are in the process of clearing the road.
