There was traffic chaos on the A34 yesterday after three collisions caused tailbacks into Berkshire.

The first incident was a three-car collision on the southbound carriageway at the Milton Interchange near Didcot. Three people were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with minor injuries.

Two subsequent collisions were also reported on the northbound carriageway at about 12.33pm. One was in the same area as the southbound and another happened closer to Abingdon. Both involved two cars and a van and led to minor injuries.

  • Drivers faced delays after a collision involving a car and a motorbike on the A4095 Park Street between The Green in Bladon and Park Lane in Long Hanborough yesterday at around 6pm.

Police were forced to direct traffic while the vehicles were recovered. There have been no reports of injuries.
