THESE children from Bartholomew School, Eynsham, showed they were expert cake makers.
They baked and decorated the cakes, then sold them at the school to raise money for the Cancer Campaign for Research in 1973.
The sale was organised by Mollie Harris, who played Martha Woodford in The Archers, and lived in the village. She had supported the charity for more than 20 years.
She brought along her radio husband, George Woolley, who opened the event, and her real life husband, Leslie ‘Ginger’ Harris.
We don’t know the names of any of the young cake makers. Can anyone tell us?
